Fuchsia plants are compact growers, typically reaching 30–60cm in height depending on variety, making them ideal for hanging baskets, containers, and garden borders. These vibrant bloomers thrive in partial shade and prefer consistently moist soil during the growing season. Water regularly but allow soil to dry slightly between waterings to prevent root rot. Feed fortnightly with a balanced fertiliser during flowering months for best results. Pinch out growing tips in spring to encourage bushier, fuller plants with more blooms. Fuchsias flower prolifically from late spring through autumn, providing weeks of colourful, pendulous flowers.
